La Cova Fumada
If you’re looking for an authentic tapas bar in the heart of Barcelona, be sure to stop by La Cova Fumada. It doesn’t really have a storefront, so it’s mostly known to regulars who know where to find the entrance. All the dishes are written on a small blackboard, from squid with onions to cod fritters, as well as artichokes. The house specialty? The Bomba—a ball of potato stuffed with minced meat and served with a spicy sauce, created by María, the grandmother of the current owners. A guaranteed favorite.

Here is the club of the 5 cafés of the week in the French capital.
