Affamés
Nestled just a stone's throw from the train station, this restaurant in Angers is a rare gem. Led by chef Valentin Raguin, it offers modern, decidedly gourmet bistro cuisine (yes, the portions are generous, and no, you won't leave hungry). On the menu: beetroot-crusted pig's trotters, creamy pumpkin soup, and Paris-Brest pastry. At lunchtime, a three-course menu is available for €23. In the evening, choose from a selection of dishes to share or enjoy on your own, or opt for the tasting menu.

Famous five
Coffee Tones. Five cafés, five shades. These are places that are an integral part of everyday life. Here is the club of the 5 cafés of the week in the French capital.
