Le Chardenoux

A famous bistro on Rue Jules Vallès, Le Chardenoux has been bringing together lovers of French cuisine and fine wines since 1908. Taken over by chef Cyril Lignac, the restaurant remains true to its old-world charm with its red velvet benches, mahogany bar, and Art Nouveau-style ceilings. A celebration of France’s regional cuisine, the menu features fish and shellfish (sea bream carpaccio with lemon-infused olive oil and pink peppercorns), but also offers traditional dishes (braised beef cheek with capers and potato gnocchi).

Coffee Tones. Five cafés, five shades.
These are places that are an integral part of everyday life. Encountered by chance along a path, visited every morning around the corner from home, tried out by word of mouth. We like them noisy or studious, indulgent, intimate, sometimes to be seen there and often to go unnoticed. If we come for the coffee, we sometimes come back for other things. Here is the club of the 5 cafés of the week in the French capital.
