Maison Vermès
Mathieu Vermès, the father, and Valentin Vermès, the son, make rhubarb their sole product, growing it outdoors in Saint-Riquier in the Somme. In total, they offer a collection of 100 different varieties and grow around fifteen of them, which vary in appearance and texture. Mikoot has green flesh. Livingstone is considered the Christmas rhubarb. Grand Mums is the most productive. Goliath is the largest. A plant with many delicious uses: in syrup, jam, pastries, compote, juice, and wine.
