Le Favori

From the outside, the place doesn't look like much. However, this modern sandwich shop located on the bustling Rue Saint-Maur in the heart of the 11th arrondissement is a favorite among locals and Parisians who are happy to make the trip. On the menu: sandwiches prepared to order using fresh ingredients, American-style takeaway. Our favorite? No. 30: tuna, piquillo peppers, hard-boiled egg, potato, capers, coriander, harissa, and black olives. All wrapped up in a bun from Mamiche. A revisited (and ultra-Instagrammable) version of the Tunisian fricassee.

Coffee Tones. Five cafés, five shades.
These are places that are an integral part of everyday life. Encountered by chance along a path, visited every morning around the corner from home, tried out by word of mouth. We like them noisy or studious, indulgent, intimate, sometimes to be seen there and often to go unnoticed. If we come for the coffee, we sometimes come back for other things. Here is the club of the 5 cafés of the week in the French capital.
