Cantina Schiavi

In this tiny canal-side spot, friendliness is key. Outside mealtimes, visitors come to pick up a bottle of red wine and some local specialties, but at lunchtime, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a moment out of time. At the counter, you can taste cicchetti (small tapas whose flavors change with the seasons) paired with a glass of white wine. To do as the locals do, you can also take everything to go along with your wine. On rainy days, you’ll need to squeeze inside to find a spot at the bar.

Coffee Tones. Five cafés, five shades.
These are places that are an integral part of everyday life. Encountered by chance along a path, visited every morning around the corner from home, tried out by word of mouth. We like them noisy or studious, indulgent, intimate, sometimes to be seen there and often to go unnoticed. If we come for the coffee, we sometimes come back for other things. Here is the club of the 5 cafés of the week in the French capital.
