Sweet Peppers

A black storefront with bright flames painted near the door. There’s no doubt about it: the temple of hot sauce is right here. Who came up with the concept? Julie Le Carrour, a hot sauce enthusiast. Since 2017, like a modern-day collector, she has traveled the world in search of discoveries to sell online and in her Bordeaux shop. And the shelves are starting to fill up with quite a collection of little bottles. There’s a sauce for everyone: the Scoville scale starts at the bottom for the less daring and climbs all the way to the top for the bravest. Online, you’ll find more than 1,000 of these gems, from the most niche varieties to bold, flavor-packed sauces, as well as the stars of Hot Ones. Fruity, smoky, tangy, exotic, fiery... isn’t it time to add a little spice to our lives?

Coffee Tones. Five cafés, five shades.
These are places that are an integral part of everyday life. Encountered by chance along a path, visited every morning around the corner from home, tried out by word of mouth. We like them noisy or studious, indulgent, intimate, sometimes to be seen there and often to go unnoticed. If we come for the coffee, we sometimes come back for other things. Here is the club of the 5 cafés of the week in the French capital.
